Ferne Animal Sanctuary is an animal welfare charity that has been operating for over 77 years, they are seeking to recruit a new Finance Manager to take the charity forwards into its next phase of development.
The current post holder has done an incredible job in modernising and bringing in appropriate controls very successfully and they are looking for a dynamic and capable individual to continue this work.
The Finance Manager is a member of the Senior Management team and will work closely with the Chief Executive delivering strong financial management and working hands on to ensure we meet our statutory obligations and fulfil the reporting needs for trustees and sharing information with our supporters.
The Finance Manager will have overall responsibility for all aspects of financial management and controls; managing and supporting the team to produce clear and accurate management accounts, cash flow forecasts and managing account balances to ensure funds are available as required.
Ideally, the charity is looking for someone with charity finance experience who can work effectively with the existing team and enable the charity to meet all its responsibilities.
Qualified to CIMA or equivalent with at least three years’ practical experience, you will have an excellent knowledge of SAGE and EXCEL, strong interpersonal skills and a confident attitude when working with budget holders.
The salary is £38,000 per annum, this is a full time position, 35 hours per week. The closing date is Friday 16th February.
