Join Community Council for Somerset at their annual Community Buildings Conference for the chance to meet advisers, service providers and other hall trustees.

  • Trustee of the Year and Hallmark Awards
  • ‘Community Buildings – A national perspective on how funding and legislation are changing’, delivered by Deborah Clarke, ACRE
  • ‘Fire Safety & Risk Assessments – What you need to know and do to keep your people and buildings safe’, delivered by Darren Bridges, Devon & Somerset Fire Service
  • ‘Aiming for Net Zero – making changes in your building’, delivered by Edd Medlicott, Orme Architecture
  • Somerset Community Foundation launch NEW fund, lead by Sean Boland
  • Q&A session with speakers
  • Refreshments, exhibitors & networking

There will also be workshops in the afternoon on governing documents, easy ways to consult with your community, and food poverty and isolation.
