This forum is open to voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations in Somerset. Come and join us for the chance to network, meet funders, discuss hot topics, catch up on what’s happening within your community, and take part in some skills development workshops.
On the Agenda for the morning:
- Meet the National Lottery Community Fund’s new Funding Officer for Somerset
- Join Somerset Community Foundation the Clark Foundation and National Lottery Community Fund representatives for a 1:1 chat at our Funders’ Table
- Choose from workshops looking in more detail at how funders assess applications, how to demonstrate need and evidence impact, or how to write a really good ‘Awards for All’ application
- Explore ideas around income diversification and generation
- Plus updates from our Development team members Leonie Cole and Penny Schofield on safeguarding, upcoming training opportunities, our current projects and more

- Book a 30 minute, 1:1 surgery slot about your latest project idea, a grant application you’re working on, or challenges you have with finding funds. Our Funding and Enterprise consultants, Louise Treacher and Dr. Miranda Millan, will be on hand to discuss your funding challenges and give tailored advice
Free tickets – which include tea, coffee, and bacon rolls or danish pastries from 9:00am, before we begin the meeting at 9.30am – are available to VCFSE staff and volunteers in Somerset.
