Navigate are looking for a Debt & Energy Adviser to help them change lives through inclusion.

Navigate is a registered charity providing free, impartial, confidential and effective money and debt management advice and financial education courses across Devon and Somerset.

As part of the “Wis£rmoney” partnership with Encompass Southwest and Mind in Somerset, Navigate provide services for people who are experiencing poverty, hardship and financial exclusion. Their BGET project forms part of this work, and supports remote, rural towns and  villages in Somerset with the provision of specialist education and advice services for families and individuals with multiple and complex needs.

The Debt & Energy Adviser will provide energy, money, debt and benefits advice to individuals who are often in crisis and who face multiple barriers to obtaining the advice and support they require.

The successful candidate will have practical experience of delivering money advice in a paid or voluntary capacity. They will also be able to work with and advise vulnerable service users in a way that promotes their rights, dignity and independence, using a non-judgmental approach.
