The Somerset Emotional Wellbeing Hub is now live
1st Jul 2021

A new emotional wellbeing service for anybody working or volunteering in health and social care in Somerset has been launched

Since the start of the pandemic, the wellbeing and resilience of health and care colleagues across Somerset has been an important issue. The Somerset Emotional Wellbeing (SEW) Hub has been developed by local statutory services and the VCSE sector and is freely available to voluntary sector staff and volunteers in Somerset.

The SEW Hub is full of useful resources and information which you can search according to how you’re feeling or where you work. It also includes:

  • A confidential Colleague Support Line (0300 1245595)
  • Free weekly podcasts exploring emotional and mental wellbeing.
  • An online moderated peer support forum
  • The Shiny Mind wellbeing and resilience app

We are delighted to have supported the development of this fantastic new resource for our VCSE colleagues working in health and social care. Please do take a moment to visit the SEW Hub and check out what support is available to you.

If you have any questions or feedback about the SEW Hub, please email david.sealey@nhs.net.
