Debt and Money Management Workshop

Date: Wednesday, 9 October

Money matters and debt can be a source of stress and anxiety for many of us, and can cause a significant impact on our mental health.

Join us for our Debt and Money Management Workshop, led by Kim Watts from Citizens Advice Somerset and Janet Gillett from Taunton Area Debt Advice, to learn how to have conversations about money and debt with service users who may come to you for support.

During the session, you will learn how you can prepare and deliver advice sessions, key budgeting principals, how to help people avoid crisis, and where to signpost your service users for further support.

Session content is identical to a previous Debt and Money Management Workshop held on Thursday 16 May.

Tickets to this event are freely available to staff and volunteers from voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations in Somerset, and will be of particular interest to those who offer mental health support in the county.
