Gaming & Gambling Harms Prevention – Young People

Date: Tuesday, 7 October

How can we protect children and young people from the harms of gaming and gambling?

Youth workers, teachers or professionals see close-up how deeply gaming and the digital world are shaping young people’s lives.

For many, it’s a positive experience – fostering creativity, problem-solving and social connection. But it also brings evolving risks that often exist out of adult sight.

Join Ygam for this Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training, where you will learn:

  • Why children and young people might game/gamble
  • What is meant by gaming/gambling related harm
  • Where to find further support
  • Have increased confidence when talking to CYP about gaming and gambling

Who is it for?

This session is suitable for staff and volunteers aged 18+ who work with and support children and young people.

About the trainer
