Supporting Managers: Leading Teams Through Cancer & Life-Impacting Illness

Date: Tuesday, 28 October

We Hear You (WHY) are running a 2-hour seminar designed to help senior staff better support employees impacted by cancer or other life-threatening conditions.

With over 120,000 people of working age diagnosed with cancer in the UK each year, and early-onset cases predicted to rise by 30% globally by the end of the decade, this is an increasingly important area of workplace wellbeing.

The seminar will cover topics such as:

  • The emotional and professional impact of serious illness on employees
  • Proactive support during diagnosis, treatment and recovery
  • Real-life case studies and expert advice on shaping compassionate, effective policies

This session is aimed at managers, team leaders, HR professionals or employees who are supporting colleagues impacted by cancer or other life-threatening conditions.

VCFSE members will receive a £25 discount on bookings, making tickets £110 (using the promocode “VCFSE-OFFER”).
