HR Networking and Support

Date: Thursday, 16 October

Free networking event for people working in HR.

When handling various areas of employee life, it’s good to keep up-to-date on procedures, policies, and best practice.

Join us for this networking opportunity for those responsible for HR within their Somerset-based organisation.

We will be joined at these meetings by Giles Vicat, Senior Advisor and mediator with Acas, and hope this will be a chance for you to discuss shared challenges, explore solutions, support each other, exchange resources and build skills. Penny Schofield, Development Manager for Spark Somerset, will help facilitate.

At this session, we’ll be focussing on EDI topics, including bullying, harassment and discrimination, sexual harassment and ’banter’, beliefs and relationships.

These sessions are aimed at anyone who works for or volunteers with a voluntary, community, faith or social enterprise (VCFSE) group or organisation in Somerset and has responsibility for HR matters, and are offered as part of a project that is being funded by the UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund.

Free tickets are solely available to VCFSE staff and volunteers from organisations operating in Somerset.
