Volunteer Coordinators’ Forum

Date: Monday, 17 November

Networking, training and peer support for Volunteer Coordinators in Somerset.

Volunteer Coordinators are often the sole person within their organisation with responsibility for volunteers.

We invite you to join us for this in-person opportunity to meet people with a similar role and share peer support.

At this forum, we’ll discuss Diversity and Inclusion in volunteer recruitment and how to attract a more diverse volunteer workforce.

We’ll be joined by Jusna Mustafa, Community Engagement Officer with Thrive, who will provide practical tips on engaging diverse communities, the events or networks to connect with, and any other strategies that have worked well.

You don’t have to be a Volunteer Coordinator or Manager to join. If your role includes working with and supporting volunteers within your organisation, whether paid or voluntary, you will find the Forum useful.

Tickets to this event are freely available to anybody who manages or coordinates volunteers in Somerset, whether in a paid or voluntary capacity.
