Somerset VCFSE Insights Hub
Strengthen funding bids, support service development and demonstrate your impact.
We know that running a group or charity can be challenging – with so much focus on day-to-day delivery, it can be hard to keep track of the changing needs of our communities and measure the full impact of what we do.
That’s where the Somerset VCFSE Insights Hub comes in. By bringing together national, regional, and local data in one easy-to-access place, it can give you the information you need to:
- Strengthen your funding applications with robust local evidence
- Develop new services that meet real community needs
- Identify opportunities for collaborations and partnerships across Somerset
- Clearly demonstrate your impact to funders, stakeholders, and partners
Activity reporting
Upload and view data on the ‘outputs’ of your organisation – helping build a picture of the sheer scale of the work undertaken by the Somerset VCFSE sector, much of which goes unseen and unfunded.
Knowledge and research hub
Read and share research findings, and upload and access local and national reports that help us learn together about best practice and innovation.
Impact and social value
Share and explore impact data – both the numbers and the stories behind them – through impact reports and case studies. Contribute to a pool of shared measures so we can quantify the sector’s collective social impact and value.
Local Insight
Access data on over 300 local need indicators with a focus on neighbourhood level insights and help us build the local picture by sharing your own.
“Having Local Insights – and the knowledge library – at our fingertips has transformed our approach to data collection and needs analysis, ensuring our grant-funding is truly directed towards areas of need.”
Emily Berridge, Somerset Community Foundation
