Lunch & Learn: Social Media Confidence Booster

Date: Wednesday, 21 January

Platforms, posts and planning - how to make social media work for you.

Social media can feel overwhelming — especially when you’re trying to keep up with changing platforms, limited time, and the pressure to “do it all.”

Join us for this practical, encouraging session designed to build confidence and clarity, and help charities and community groups make social media work for them, not the other way around.

You’ll discover how to:

  • Choose the right platforms for your organisation and audience (and stop worrying about the rest)
  • Create posts that feel authentic, not forced — using stories, visuals, and a voice that reflect your values
  • Tackle negativity and tricky comments with calm and confidence
  • Build a healthy, sustainable relationship with social media (and your time)
  • Use light-touch planning to stay consistent without burning out

Whether you’re brand new to managing social media or simply want to feel more confident about what you’re posting, this session will help you replace the pressure to be perfect with a clear, practical approach that fits your capacity and community

Who is it for?

This session is suitable for anyone who works or volunteers for a VCFSE organisation (including community interest companies, community benefit societies and unincorporated organisations) and would like to learn how to maximise the impact of their marketing in a time-effective way.
