Showcasing collaboration, innovation, and best practice in dementia care and services.
Proper Dementia care is vital for those living with a Dementia diagnosis – it helps to keep them safe, supported, and living independently for as long as possible.
Join us in Taunton on Thursday 19 March for the Somerset Dementia Conference: Putting People First, where we will be showcasing the collaboration and innovation taking place in Dementia care and services across the county, and discussing best practice.
A full agenda will be announced soon, but the day will feature guest speakers and interactive sessions, including:
- An update on the University of Bristol’s Mysmile project
- An on-site Memory Cafe facilitated by Alzheimer’s Society
Join us to celebrate the amazing work already being done in Somerset, and look to the future at what else we can achieve.
Tickets are freely available to: staff and volunteers from voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations, health and social care staff, and individuals with a dementia diagnosis, their families and carers in Somerset.
There may be assistance for travel costs for those living with dementia, their families and carers. Please let us know when booking if you would like us to contact you with further information.
