Peer to Peer Networks
To help strengthen collaboration across Somerset’s VCFSE sector, we host peer networks where staff and volunteers can connect and learn. Some meet online, others in person – but all offer a friendly space for open conversation, training and mutual support.
Volunteer Coordinators' Network
Our quarterly forum is an opportunity for volunteer managers to get support, develop skills and explore new ways to recruit and look after their team. Sessions include expert speakers and open discussion, so everyone can share and learn from each other.
Fundraisers' Network
Open to anyone whose role involves raising money for their community group or organisation – these friendly meetings are held every two months and provide a space to share ideas and support each other through the challenges of fundraising and income generation.

Comms Network
This network is open to anyone involved in communications and marketing within a VCFSE organisation – whether it’s in your job title or not. We meet online on the first Wednesday of every month to share challenges and successes, explore campaign opportunities and access training.
Somerset Trustees' Forum
This regular online meeting keeps Trustees and Directors connected with good governance, offering key updates, focused training, and plenty of time for open discussion and networking.

Strategic Partnerships
We also host thematic networks that bring organisations together to collaborate, share expertise, and help shape strategic approaches to mental health, children and young people’s mental health, dementia, and other priority areas across Somerset.
