Free digital advice and drop-ins

We are working with community spaces to set up and run free Digital Cafés, hubs and drop ins across the county. Run by our friendly and supportive team of volunteer Digital Champions, they are free to attend and open to people of all ages and abilities.

Digital Cafés can provide several benefits:

Support people to use digital devices safely and build their confidence
Help people to access digital services and support to improve their health and wellbeing
Facilitate access to devices and free data.

I love giving back to the community and helping the older generation.  My job, that I love doing, is to teach them about all the complicated things in more layman’s terms. Honestly, it’s so rewarding and good for the soul.

Bishops Lydeard – the village hall, 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, 10:30-11:30am
Bridgwater – the Town Hall, every Tuesday from 10am-12pm
Burnham-on-Sea – the Waffle Hub at the Methodist Church on College Street, every Monday from 12-2pm, Tuesday from 12-2pm and Wednesday from 10am-12pm
Chard – Eleos Café, every Friday from 10am-12pm

Volunteer with us

Our Digital Cafés and events are supported by a dedicated team of volunteer Digital Champions who enjoy helping others and love seeing the positive impact they make. We’re looking for people to join them, regularly or occasionally.
