Food, growing and gardening projects are vital for the health and wellbeing of our communities, especially during times of economic hardship.
We warmly invite you to join us for this free forum, co-hosted by Spark Somerset and Somerset Community Food (SCF).
Whether you’re involved with a local allotment, community fridge or foodbank, therapeutic garden, cooking class or any other initiative which uses food, growing and gardening to support positive change, please come and join us for the chance to network and share peer support, learning and best practice.
This meeting will be taking place at The Bishop’s Palace & Gardens in Wells. We’ll join Head Gardener James Cross for a tour of the gardens, and learn about their history, how they’re managed, and plans for the future. We’ll also hear from Jo Stephenson, Community Gardener for the Palace, about her role.
Tickets to this forum are freely available to voluntary organisations, social enterprises and individuals involved in community growing, food and gardening projects in Somerset.
