A collaborative networking event for VCFSE organisations in West Somerset and Sedgemoor.
We know how valuable it can be for voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector groups to have the opportunity to come together.
We warmly invite you to join us for this collaborative event to connect with others in the sector and gain insight into what’s available locally.
This forum will focus on impact and story-telling, and during the morning will hear from:
- Richard Tomlinson from Original Light on using visual storytelling to demonstrate impact
- Natalie Barnett from Somerset Wildlife Trust on the communities using practical, place-based action to tackle climate concerns
- Ronnie Broadley, leader of a local textile project based at The Princess Theatre, about how the project embraced collaborative working and impacts the community
- Chase Mnatzaganian, DEI Cultural Innovator and and Equalities and Communities Lead for SARI, on hate crime
The afternoon will be dedicated to 1:1 sessions with the Spark Somerset team on funding, governance and volunteering.
Tickets are freely available to volunteers and staff members from groups and organisations operating in the West Somerset, Taunton, and Sedgemoor areas, and include a complimentary networking lunch. Places are limited to two per organisation.
