A practical session on reporting and evaluation, including an in depth look at the Somerset VCFSE Insights Hub.
In today’s funding landscape, being able to clearly evidence why your work matters – and the difference it makes – is essential. With so many ways to capture and present data, knowing where to start can feel overwhelming.
This practical, hands-on session will help you build confidence, using freely available tools and data to evidence both need and impact in funding applications, evaluations and reports.
The session includes:
- Understanding community need: Explore how to evidence local need and position your organisation as part of the solution
- Monitoring & evaluation tools: A guided walk-through of some practical approaches to track, measure and demonstrate your impact
- Combining local stories with robust evidence to strengthen your case for support
- Somerset VCFSE Insights Hub deep dive: See the platform in action, understand how to use it effectively and discover how it can strengthen funding applications, strategic planning, service design and partnership work
- Networking and tailored support: Enjoy a light lunch, connect with peers and access 1:1, hands-on support to explore how the Hub can support your work and help you gather and use data effectively
Bring your questions, your projects and a laptop if you can, and leave the session with practical tools, live links and templates you can use straight away.
This session is designed for charities, community groups and social enterprises in Somerset who want to combine data with stories to better demonstrate their impact – without the need for research expertise.
If you cannot join us on this date, we are hosting an identical session on Tuesday 31 March in Somerton. Please click here if you would like to book your place for that date.
