Increase awareness, build confidence, and start creating a neuroinclusive workplace.
Neurodiversity awareness in the workplace is crucial; it transforms the perception of neurological differences from “deficits” to natural variations in human brain function. Fostering an inclusive environment allows organisations to tap into unique talents and perspectives.
Join us for this knowledge and awareness session that will introduce you neurodivergence and things to be aware of in the workplace.
During the session, we will cover:
- Neurodiversity and the common neurotypes
- How neurodivergent conditions can present at work
- How to start supportive conversations
- The benefits of neuroinclusive workplaces
Attendees will learn:
- Key statistics and definitions
- What neurodiversity means in a workplace context
- How differences in focus, communication and processing can show up day to day
- Why someone may appear confident but be masking with significant effort
- Common myths that shape workplace assumptions
- The role colleagues play in creating inclusive team norm
Training will be provided by Enna Global, a CIC whose mission is to create a world where neurodivergent talent isn’t just accepted, it’s actively sought after, celebrated, and empowered to thrive.
Enna help employers unlock the value of neurodiversity by building inclusive hiring processes, workplace cultures, and support systems that work for everyone.
This session is being offered as part of a project that is being funded by the UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund. Free tickets are solely available to VCFSE staff and volunteers from organisations operating in Somerset.
Due to the number of places available for this training, we ask that organisations limit their bookings to 2 per organisation.
If you are registering for this event and we cannot verify that you’re from a Somerset-based charity, your booking will be cancelled.
