Volunteer support

We provide information and support for voluntary and community organisations who involve volunteers. We also run the volunteering website, Spark a Change, inspiring people to get involved and make a difference in their communities.

Does your organisation involve volunteers?

We offer free advice and support to organisations. Whether you are new to volunteer management or looking to revise your existing policies and procedures, we can offer advice on best practice and provide support on a range of topics, including:

  • Policies and procedures
  • Volunteer management, recruitment and retention
  • Promoting your volunteering opportunities
  • Trustee recruitment
  • Employer supported volunteering
  • Involving young volunteers

Volunteer Coordinator Forums

Our friendly, informal fourms provide an opportunity for Volunteer Coordinators to network, share and peer support, explore best practice, and look at opportunities for development and training.  Visit our events page for details of the next meeting.

Recruiting volunteers?

Voluntary and community organisations can use Spark a Change to connect with a community of enthusiastic volunteers.
