Help develop and administer a Schools Programme for younger learners.
The West Somerset Railway Heritage Trust is concerned with the historical and educational aspects of railway preservation in West Somerset.
Since 1984, the Trust has made financial contributions to the restoration of GWR steam locomotives 4561 and 4160, rescued a unique GWR sleeping car, established a GWR Museum, registering system and archive, published information leaflets and advised on historical matters.
The Trust’s Families Offer provides family focussed activities and events, as well as a developing Outdoor Offer for community learning. To assist in the development and delivery of their School’s Programme, the Trust are looking for a Learning and Education Officer.
The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in teaching and learning, or relevant work experience, with experience of delivering learning programmes.
