Citizens Advice Somerset are a busy, ambitious charity that have been operating across Somerset for the last 85 years.
They are looking for a confident and experienced leader for their Resilience Team who is a qualified and competent adviser with the relevant accredited qualifications.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable and thorough understanding of the application of income maximisation process in a busy advice organisation and of doing so in an efficient way, including through a referral into the Money Advice Service (MAPS) funded programme.
They will also be experienced in providing advice with casework and a demonstrable understanding of the welfare schemes available to support clients (Client Support Fund, Household Support Fund, Food Banks etc.)
Previous experience as a line manager would be an advantage but not a requirement as training will be provided for the right candidate.
