Learn how you can build financial resilience through diverse income streams.

In these difficult financial times, it’s important for charities and community groups to make use of more than one income stream.

Join us for a practical, in-person, all-day conference exploring how VCSFE organisations can diversify income and build financial resilience.

Through workshops, panels and peer sessions we’ll explore trading, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partnerships, commissioning, legacy gifts, skills funding, direct payments and more.

Expect sessions on:

  • Income diversification 101
  • Legacy giving
  • Developing your CSR offer
  • Social investment
  • Sweating your assets
  • What commissioners want
  • How to access direct payments and skills and learning funding
  • Market research
  • Trading and e-commerce
  • How to start trading

and much more!

and more!

You’ll be able to dip into sessions that suit you, explore new ideas, and network with other organisations. Plus, there will be a quiet room available in case you need to make a phone call or check your emails during the day.

You’ll leave with clear, actionable routes to strengthen your income and sustainability.

Tickets are freely available to staff and volunteers from VCFSE groups and organisations based in or operating within Somerset, and include complimentary refreshments, pastries, and a light lunch. If we cannot verify your link to a VCFSE group in the county, your booking will be cancelled.

If you cannot join us for this date, we are hosting an identical session on Tuesday 5 May. Click here to book your place for this date.

This event is being offered as part of a project that is being funded by the UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund.
