We're exploring a potential Somerset-wide food partnership and we'd love to hear your views
The National Lottery Community Fund’s Climate Action Fund – Food Systems programme is supporting ambitious, long-term partnerships that can help create fairer, healthier and more sustainable food systems. The fund is particularly interested in projects that tackle the root causes of food insecurity, support climate action, strengthen local food systems and increase community involvement in shaping the future of food.
Together with organisations from across Somerset, we would like to explore the opportunity to apply for funding to develop a county-wide partnership focused on children and young people, recognising the important role food plays in health, wellbeing, education, climate resilience and community life.
We’re keen to hear from charities, community groups, businesses, growers and residents with an interest in local food systems about the opportunities, challenges and priorities they see.
Whether your organisation would like to play a long-term role in a potential Somerset-wide partnership or simply share your views at this stage, we’d really like to hear from you.
This survey should take around 5 to 10 minutes to complete and you can take part here.
Thank you in advance for your support.
