Gain two Level 3 first aid qualifications in one course, with practical skills for emergencies involving adults, infants and children.
This combined course will give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to respond effectively to emergencies in the workplace and in early years settings.
This is much more than an awareness course. You’ll develop practical, hands-on first aid skills covering adults, infants and children, including how to assess an emergency, perform CPR, use the recovery position, respond to choking, manage external bleeding and recognise and respond to shock. The course also covers seizures and a range of minor injuries, including burns, scalds, bites and stings.
On successful completion, you will achieve:
- QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)
- QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF)
The qualifications cover first aid in the workplace as well as emergency first aid for infants and children in an early years setting.
Please be aware that this course includes practical assessments as well as multiple-choice assessments. All learners must be able to take part in and successfully complete the practical elements of the course, including demonstrating first aid skills on adult, infant and child manikins.
You will also need to complete two multiple-choice exams, one for each qualification. If you have any concerns about completing the practical assessments or multiple-choice exams, please let us know before the course. This will allow us to explore and, where appropriate, apply for any reasonable adjustments or special considerations with the awarding body in advance.
This course is ideal for anyone who needs to hold both workplace and paediatric emergency first aid qualifications, or who wants to build practical first aid skills and gain two qualifications in one course.
Cancellations made less than three weeks before the event are non-refundable. If you’re no longer able to attend, please let us know if you’d like to transfer your place to a colleague.
