Learn more about legacy-giving, will-writing, and promotional approaches.

Legacy fundraising is a very cost-effective way for charities to raise funds but it can be quite a sensitive practice to approach.

Join us for this short, practical Lunch & Learn where we will cover wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), legacy storytelling through video, and practical community workshops.

Expert speakers include:

  • Andrea Mapstone and Jill Humphries from Lyons Bowe Solictors who will discuss their Charity Will Scheme, and why wills and LPAs matter to groups like yours
  • Emma Bracegirdle from The Saltways who will explore how to capture and use legacy stories to encourage legacy giving, ethical storytelling, and community workshop approaches

This session will include:

  • Presentations on practical and promotional approaches to legacy fundraising
  • Demonstrations and guidance on creating legacy videos and details on community workshops
  • Interactive Q&A sessions with the presenters

Free tickets are solely available to VCFSE staff and volunteers from organisations operating in Somerset, and will be of particular interest to those with fundraising responsibilities for their group or organisation.
