Are you an excellent communicator with a passion for helping others? 

Citizens Advice Somerset are a busy, ambitious charity that’s been operating across Somerset for more than 85 years. They provide free, independent advice, on almost any topic, to anyone who needs it.

As part of the service’s Early Help and Prevention team, Telephone Advisers provide high-quality advice to clients across the county or a wide range of topics.

The successful candidate will be compassionate and take a person-centred approach to their work, adapting to the needs of each individual client.

They will have the ability to understand written and oral information of some complexity; have good numeracy skills sufficient to compile accurate financial statements and calculate benefits; and, have effective oral and written communication skills.

Strong organisational, administrative and IT skills will be essential in this role, and training will be provided to give the successful applicant the knowledge needed to excel.
