National Lottery Community Fund (NLCF) are seeking two Funding Officers for the South West region to help deliver their Reaching Communities programme, as well as their new ‘It Starts With Community’ strategy.
Post-holders will provide support across the region, with a focus on developing relationships and being a key point of contact. They will assess applications for funding and manage grants using local knowledge, and harness the experience of customers and stakeholders to improve grant-making.
They will also hold responsibility for supporting local people and communities, and respond to the needs of customers by providing advice and considered feedback.
The successful candidates will have strong communication skills, be able to build and develop effective relationships, and have lived experience or working knowledge of the needs and priorities of communities in the region.
