Are you passionate about building children and young peoples’ awareness and self-confidence to cope with the challenges of tomorrow?

In The Mix Project (ITMP) is a growing Somerset-based charity supporting children, young people aged 8-25, and families through a wide range of youth and community services – open access, targeted support, alternative provision, and participation.

The charity are looking for passionate, energetic and motivated Youth and Community Practitioners to join the team and help create positive opportunities for young people across Somerset.

As a Youth and Community Practitioner, you will plan, deliver and evaluate engaging youth and community programmes that support young people to develop skills, confidence and resilience. You will work directly with young people through centre-based youth work, group work and targeted interventions, community-based projects and activities, and more.

Experience working directly with children and young people aged 8-25 is essential, as is experience planning and delivering activities, programmes or projects.

Additional experience supporting young people with SEND, SEMH or additional needs is desirable but not essential.

Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence and access to transport will be required.

For more information, or to apply, please visit the ITMP website.
