Learn about the support available for VCFSE Safeguarding leads in Somerset.

All voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations play a key role in keeping the people they work with safe from harm.

Following the positive feedback from our first event, we’re pleased to invite you to the second Somerset VCFSE Safeguarding Leads Forum.

This forum provides an opportunity for safeguarding leads and those with safeguarding responsibilities to reconnect with peers from across Somerset, share experiences and good practice, discuss current challenges, and help shape future support for the sector.

The session will include updates from partners, opportunities for discussion around emerging safeguarding issues, and space to explore common themes and challenges facing VCFSE organisations. We also want to hear from attendees about the topics, questions and training needs that would be most useful for future forums and safeguarding support offers.

We’ll continue to share information about the support available through Spark Somerset and our safeguarding partners, while providing a valuable networking space for those leading safeguarding within their organisations.

Tickets are freely available to VCFSE staff and volunteers from organisations operating in Somerset and will be of particular interest to those with safeguarding responsibilities for their group or organisation.
