Somerset Community Foundation (SCF) are a grant-making charity that helps build strong communities where everyone can thrive. They do this by funding local charities and inspiring and facilitating local giving and philanthropy, and have a passionate and dedicated team who all share a love of our wonderful county.
Together, they work tirelessly to raise vital funds and get them to a diverse range of groups so they can change lives in Somerset every day.
Join us for this helpful, informal session with Kirsty Campbell, Senior Programmes Manager for SCF, as she guides us through their current funding programmes and social investment opportunities, with a focus on funding for groups supporting older people.
There will also be time for questions and discussion.
Tickets to this event are freely available to staff and volunteers from voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations in Somerset – as well as CICs – and will be of particular interest to those with fundraising responsibilities.
