Help strengthen the local council sector, and undertake daily administration tasks.

Working in partnership with Somerset Council, the Somerset Association of Local Councils (SALC) is seeking to recruit a talented administrator, with key skills around evaluation and reporting, to help complete delivery a pioneering health and wellbeing programme of support to town and parish councils in Somerset.

Working alongside the Community Health & Wellbeing Officer, you will seek to strengthen the local council sector and undertake the day-to-day administration of the programme, assisting councils as they seek to improve health and wellbeing in their communities, evaluating, and reporting on, the grant-funded community projects, and supporting the organisation of SALC’s annual “Somerset Parishes Conference” in early October.

If you have a genuine interest in community health and wellbeing, excellent administrative, evaluation & reporting skills with a track record of meeting key deadlines, then SALC would like to hear from you.
