Skills Bootcamps are flexible, employer-led training programmes funded by the Department for Education. They provide adults with the opportunity to gain valuable new skills and support career progression, whilst enabling employers to upskill their workforce in key areas. The programme is delivered over 10 weeks and is designed to fit around work commitments.
This Skills Bootcamp in Leadership & Management is designed to help aspiring and existing managers develop the skills, confidence and behaviours needed to lead high-performing teams and drive business success.
Developed in partnership with KanKEI, the content reflects the real challenges faced by voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE )leaders and managers in today’s workplace. The collaborative approach means learners will benefit from practical, industry-informed training that can be applied immediately within their organisation.
The next course for the Somerset VCFSE sector starts in January 2027. Places are extremely limited, with sign up and induction required by December 2026 to secure your place.
Places on this introductory session are freely available to staff from VCFSE organisations in Somerset, and will be of particular interest to anyone in a leadership or management role.
